Should I run for Mayor of Memphis?

They say on the news that it only takes 25 names on a petition and $100 Fee to run for Mayor of Memphis.  I am contemplating a candidacy.  It seems like a pretty cool part-time job.  And the current Mayor’s real estate business has done  pretty well while he has held office.

Remember in elementary school, the first theme of the year was “What I did on Vacation”?  Katy and I took a much needed few days to visit our friend Jane on Tybee Island, GA.

In case you didn’t know, as of 11:01PM on 6/12, Facebook is allowing you to set up a vanity URL for your profile. Tired of that facebook.com/09403829=?89721 profile, URL?  Now you can have something as smooth as your Twitter account, like  http://facebook.com/JoeSpake.
Just to to http://facebook.com/username and set it up!
