September 9, 2009 seems like a pretty good date for an important event. 9-9-9.  Looks like good numerology: 9 + 9 + 9 = 27,  2 + 7 = 9 – Perfect symmetry. My friend Tim pointed out that if you turn 9-9-9 upside down and you get 666, but we won’t go there. Actually, I take full responsibility for choosing this date, not because of the numerological implications, and not taking into consideration that it falls on a Wednesday, but because it is happening in the fairly near future, and it’s damn easy to remember for the rest of my life.
So that’s the wedding day for Katy and me. My priest friend, Mark Frazier is coming all the way from Bristol, VA to do our small private ceremony.
So this makes it official. We are getting married. More details later.
