Kate Campbell Downtown at CSF – Saturday, April 23

One of America’s best singer-songwriters plays the Center For Southern Folklore Saturday night, April 23. Kate Campbell honors Memphis a few time a year with her wit and her humorous and poignant songs. Kate captures the South in a way very few can. Add her to that short list with Eudora Welty, Tennessee Williams and William Faulkner.
Tickets still available at the Center.

Kate Campbell this Weekend!

They are calling it the Kate Fest, as singer-songwriter Kate Campbell will do 2 concerts and a song writing workshop this weekend at the Center for Southern Folklore.

Kate is Americana personified. Her songs take the listener from laughter (Jesus and Tomatoes) to tears (Who Will Pray for Junior). Her roots as a Baptist preacher’s daughter in Sledge, and her extensive travels on the blue highways of the southeast USA , are evident in her songs.

All events are at the Center for Southern Folklore:
Saturday Evening – Concert and CD release party, Doors open at 7PM, Concert at 8PM
Sunday Afternoon- 2-4 Songwriters Workshop with Kate Campbell
Sunday -4PM -Katefest – Kate will do a concert of her most popular songs, and probably a few requests too.

Whether you are new to Kate’s material, or a long time fan, these events are not to be missed.
Contact the Center for tickets or more info.
