Willis Alan Ramsey, a cult hero youngster, in the early 1970’s at WLYX. Ramsey actually attended Southwestern College (now Rhodes) for a short time. I am not sure if he ever recorded another record after his eponymous 1972 classic.

A fond memory of Overton Square. We saw some great artists at Lafayette’s. This was a little before Billy Joel’s “Piano Man” album hit big and launched him to super star status.
