UPDATE: A quick Google search will indicate that there are issues with the new WordPress 2.8 build and the visual editor. You probably know I am not a coder, so whenever anything doesn’t work like it is supposed to, I freak. After trying 3 different browsers (yes, I even broke down and tried Chrome), clearing caches, messing with Gears, trying the many suggested fixes, I found that the problem was caused by one offending plugin, “Social Media Page”. So if you are having problems with the editor and other dashboard features, your plugins may be a good place to start troubleshooting.
