Get this kind:   Martha White Self-Rising Corn Meal Mix White (not yellow) Enriched, with Hot Rize.  Use a cast iron skillet or corn stick pan.  Follow the instructions on the bag for corn bread from heaven.   And please, please, don’t add any sugar.

I don’t know how this always sneaks up on me, but Daylight Savings Time ends Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 2:00AM.    Don’t forget to set your clocks back, and change your smoke detector batteries, whether they need it or not.   Enjoy the early darkness in the evenings.
