Rings on Memphis Cobblestones

Mooring rings, well over 100 years old. on the Memphis cobblestone wharf. From the glory days of Memphis River shipping – cotton bails filling the river banks, and paddle wheel steamboats loading and unloading cargo.
Now the cobblestones are mostly neglected, except as private parking for the excursion boat company.
If rings could talk……
